Friends of the Howe House to Receive “Montclair Race Amity Award”

Friends of the Howe House is proud to announce that we have received the Montclair Race Amity Award from the Montclair Race Amity Initiative. This award honors our efforts to work across racial lines to highlight and share the history of the James Howe House and the African American community in Montclair.

Join us on Sunday, June 11th during the 3rd annual Montclair Race Amity Day on the grounds of the Montclair History Center. The program will start at 12:30 and will be a family-friendly event with picnic blankets and activities to follow.
